Getting Here
The Canadian Canoe Museum is located at 910 Monaghan Road in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Peterborough is located approximately 140 kilometres northeast of Toronto (an easy 90-minute drive).
Driving directions to Peterborough
From the west: drive east on Highway 401 until you reach Exit 436 (turnoff to Highway 115 north). Take Exit 436 and follow Highway 115 north to the Peterborough Downtown Exit (The Parkway). From the east: drive west on Highway 401 until you reach Exit 464 (turnoff to Highway 28/Port Hope). Take Exit 464 and follow Highway 28 north until you reach the exit to Highway 115 north. Driving time from Highway 401 from either direction is approximately 40 minutes.
Driving directions to The Canadian Canoe Museum in Peterborough
From Highway 115, take the exit to downtown Peterborough via The Parkway. Continue on The Parkway north until you reach the first major intersection (Lansdowne Street). Turn right (east) on Lansdowne and follow it until you reach Monaghan Road. Turn left (north) on to Monaghan Road. Continue north on Monaghan road for approximately 1/2 a block. The Canadian Canoe Museum is on the right (opposite the Evinrude Centre).
